This is a safe place? Just admit it you spend hours at the gym trying to lose weight? Or you don’t workout because you think it takes hours and you don’t have the time?

Guess what??

Working out shouldn’t take hours! I never workout for more then 30mins 5-6 days a week and I am in the best shape I have ever been in! That’s right! 15lbs less then when I was in my 20’s and I have better abs then before I had kids!

And do you know why?

Because I know the right workouts to do to burn the most calories in the shortest amount of time. And I know about tricking my body for continued weight loss.

I will admit though I was one of those people. The ones who would go to the gym for hours and could never lose the last 5-10lbs. I ran 2 marathons thinking I would get in great shape. I ran every morning 3-5 miles in the rain and snow because I thought that’s what I needed to be in good shape.

But you know what? I was wrong!

Now I do different workouts everyday because our bodies need to be tricked. Running everyday will eventually cause you to plateau and not to mention the wear it causes on your body.

The best workouts are interval workouts. For example pushing as hard as you can for 20secs then relaxing for 10sec. If you like to run you could sprint a block and then walk a block. Same for the elliptical…you could go hard for 20secs then easy for 10secs.

Which ever form of cardio you prefer do that. Do not just do something because that’s what you think you need. Really any form will work and it depends more on if you enjoy it and if you have any injuries.

Besides interval training don’t forget to also lift weights 2-3xs/week. Muscle burns more calories during the day so lifting weights will allow you to continue to burn calories long after your workout is over!

So that’s the story:

Interval training or short bursts of intense work followed by rest
Strengthening 2-3s/week to continue to burn calories
Changing what you do for exercise to trick your body to continue to lose weight.
That’s really all it takes! Now to figure out what to do with all your spare time : )

If you need help decided what workout to do try out my FREE 30 Day Fat Loss Challenge! It’s 5 minute workouts which use intervals! I guarantee you the pounds and inches will come off and you can not use time as an excuse!
