Is running for weight loss a good idea?
When we think about losing weight loss, running is often the first exercise that comes to mind.

As a Coach, I don’t think running is a good idea for weight loss.
Here’s why:
1. The risk of injuries and joint pain is increased for overweight individuals.
2. Running affects your strength training performance
3. Running is a skill that requires proper training and practice
4. Running can become boring and monotonous over time
5. Your body adapts to it very quickly and you burn fewer calories over time
6. Not everyone is built to run

What to do instead:
1. Focus on Strength Training
2. Try alternative forms of cardio if needed.
3. Try HIIT Cardio
